I made some art.
This is a bit of a departure for me. I’m not a painter (well, except for face and body painting), and I have very little experience painting acrylic on canvas. It seems like such an art-school thing to do.
But I went to Paint Night with some friends a while back and had a blast. And, my brother gave me an original acrylic painting for Christmas, so… when I decided I needed some new artwork for my window seat, to go with my 3d printed LED strands, I went out and got myself a canvas.
It turned out way better than I expected. It has a Fire Pixie. Actually it has five, most of whom are varying degrees of hidden. And it has pretty flames. I love it.
I added LEDs, because, well, that’s kind’a my thang. And a capacitive touch button for turning it on and off.. and combined with my new Angel’s Trumpet pendant lights, my living room is looking might lovely in the evenings.
